Anti-Skid Surfacing
Grip exactly where physics demands it.
High-friction (anti-skid) surfacing saves lives at the exact points where vehicles brake hardest: junction approaches, pedestrian crossings, sharp bends, steep ramps and roundabout entries. We apply cold-applied and hot-applied systems using calcined bauxite aggregate, the same class of material specified on the strategic road network.

Common questions
How long does anti-skid surfacing last?
Correctly installed calcined bauxite systems routinely deliver five to eight years of service, even on heavily trafficked approaches. The resin binder usually outlasts the polishing life of the aggregate itself.
Can you colour-match bus lane or cycle lane red?
Yes. We hold standard highway colours in stock and can match corporate or scheme-specific colours for private developments, subject to a small batch lead time.
