Questions,
answered.

The things clients ask us most, answered the way we'd answer them across a site cabin table.

How much does line marking cost?

Every job is priced on measurement: metres of line, number of symbols, material system, preparation and programming. A single bay costs little; a distribution yard is a different scale. Send photos or a site pin and we'll return a measured, itemised price, free and without obligation.

What paint do you use for road marking?

Primarily hot-applied thermoplastic with drop-on glass bead, durable, reflective and traffic-ready within minutes. For concrete decks and low-traffic areas we use chlorinated rubber or water-based systems; for temporary work, removable water-based paints and tapes.

How long do markings take to dry?

Thermoplastic sets within minutes of application, traffic can cross almost immediately. Cold-applied paints need longer; we programme accordingly and protect fresh work until cured.

Can you work at night or weekends?

Yes, it's our default for trading premises, highways and schools. Night possessions, Sunday working and school-holiday programmes are all routine, with Chapter 8 traffic management where required.

Do you remove old markings first?

Where layouts change, yes, by high-pressure water jetting, which strips the old material without ghost lines or surface damage. Where existing lines are sound, we can refresh over them.

Which areas do you cover?

Our daily working zone covers Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, Dunstable, Redbourn, St Albans, Harpenden, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Aylesbury. London and Oxford are served on programmed campaigns, and we'll travel further for larger contracts.

Are your markings compliant with UK regulations?

Yes. Highway layouts follow TSRGD and the Traffic Signs Manual; materials are performance-classed to BS EN 1436. Car park layouts follow current guidance on bay dimensions and accessible provision.
